TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate) HAS NO EFFECTS ON MOTILITY.

Intestinal motility inhibitors and intestinal secretion modifying drugs are not indicated in children, and even less so in infants, so TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate) is the best alternative as, unlike other drugs, it does not alter the intestinal flora and is a safe treatment, with proven efficacy, in infants and children.

TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate) DOES NOT ALTER THE INTESTINAL FLORA.

The undesirable effects of bismuth subsalicylate are important, and it is obviously not indicated in children, and even less in infants, so TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate) is also the best therapeutic alternative to this drug.

TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate) IS A SAFE TREATMENT, WITH PROVEN EFFICACY, IN INFANTS AND CHILDREN.

Finally, the limited effectiveness of antibiotics for the treatment of acute diarrhoea (only 10%) means that it is not the treatment of choice. Its use in infants in particular should be with caution and control, and will only be justified in certain conditions.

TASECTAN® (gelatin tannate), however, effectively shortens the effect of acute diarrhoea, with no effect on motility. Indeed, it is the best therapeutic option.
